Springfield Art Association Mardi Gras Festival Rocked!

Just wanted to put a plug in for the Springfield Art Association. We had to pick up our 6-year-old from Clay Class last night (he loves that, by the way, through the Art Association) and decided to stay for their Mardi Gras Festival. What a fun evening! They had live music, plenty of volunteers, fun activities, great food and everyone was friendy and excited to have people come by to party. Our kids painted, made Mardi Gras crowns, a Chinese New Year lantern and played games. They had a ball. The weather was completely terrible, but it was still well worth it. Our son has also done their week long Art Camp during the summer and loved it. They have an Art Library with kids selections that you can check out also. They really do a nice job.
