Has anyone used the Dr. Brown's Training Cups? My son will be 9 months old on Jan. 2nd. Would anyone recommend these? I was searching for bottles on Walmart.com and these came up. I was curious about them. If you have used them, can you put formula in them? Thanks!

Hello moms! I have a small daycare in my home for up to three children, ages 6wks-5yrs. One of the children I watch is moving on to a preschool, so I now have a opening for a full-time mobile child aged 9mo-2yrs, which is available starting 9/22/08.

I am the mother of a 14-month-old boy who is sweet and funny and loves other kids! I have a warm and comfy house, and your child will receive all the care and encouragement I give to my own son. My goal is to create a joyful & loving environment ...

We are having a birthday party for our soon-to-be 6 year old son. It is his first big party. My question has to do with presents. My son has been to a few parties where the gift-opening is a little over the top and unbearable, sometimes taking well over an hour. While I would prefer to not have gifts brought at all, my husband feels like we should allow gifts since this is our son's first big party. So my question is whether or not it would be rude to just have him open gifts after the kids ...

I have 22 month old son, who can be described as a walking exclamation mark. We recently added two lab puppies to our family, and my son loves them dearly. He doesn't seem to understand how to play gently with them. He sees rolling around and playing with each other and he dives right in sometimes causing the dogs to yelp. We have tried everything to change this behavior but nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions would be great!

I am thinking about trying to find a high school junior or senior to watch him at home this summer. I am looking for someone to care ...

My daughter is doing great with potty training. The problem I am having is she will not wear pull-ups or big girl undies. She only wants "Elmos" (her name for diapers). After she uses the potty, she often refuses to put anything on at all. An "Elmo" or diaper is usually the only thing I can convince her to wear - but even that takes great effort. Once I have the diaper on, she complains it hurts. Does anyone have suggestions?

I was not able to attend the workshops this past weekend and wondered if anyone went and had anything interesting to share? I have read one of her books and our preschool teacher practices this so I am fairly familiar with it but am always needing reminding and ideas. I would have liked to have attended.

I'm still looking for in-home day care options. I live in Chatham. Can anyone refer me to a licensend in-home day care provider - or have an opening? I will be needing services end of May/June.
