the best gift ever!

I want to thank my friend Amy for giving our 4 year-old the best bday present ever! Time with her friend! She received a lovely card that invited her to lunch, wearing princess attire of her choice, then an ice cream treat. What was originally going to be a Tea Thyme style lunch and Baskin Robbins treat turned into Subway followed by a trip to DEALS to pick out a few dollars of "treasures!" It was such a wonderful outing for her, and for me, I got a few hours to myself to multi-task!

Time is the best gift of all! My sister did the same thing for my daughter's bday-- private time with her aunt and time-off for mommy, it was lovely!!
