Hazardous Waste Collection in Springfield

There will be a hazardous waste collection site set up at the IDOT parking lot, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway in Springfield on April, 12 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of old chemicals, batteries, medicine, etc. that have accumulated around your house. I hope many of us will take advantage of this FREE event.
