I am looking for a permanent nanny/sitter to stay with my 3 month old daughter during the week for about 20-25 hours per week. I am interested in signing up for www.sittercity.com and wonder if anyone is familiar with this service? Has anyone tried them? Does anyone have any information about them to share? If you haven't heard of them, check out their website. If the service is as good as they advertise, it could be awesome! Thanks!

One reader told me there is a monthly subscription fee for this site....I haven't checked into it though...I just heard you have to pay to access any contact information.

I don't use a long-term sitter/nanny, but I have a couple part-time sitters that I got from the site. I've had great success, I think the site draws good, reliable sitters as opposed to craigslist where you can get some wild cards. There is a fee, but I don't think it's that much. I found a 10% coupon, but having a sitter I'm happy with is worth the cost anyway. here's a link to the deal:
