1. Picture Placemant

Cut out all the pictures you get of your family and friends at Christmas and let your child make a collage. Then laminate it and you have a placemat of all your family and friends! Great meal time conversation and a wonderful way to save those pictures.

2. Stuffed Greeting Card Ornament

1. Cut two identical rectangles out of the brown paper bag that measure about 3 X 5
inches.
2. Staple or glue the two pieces together, leaving one of the long sides open. Now
you’ll want to stuff newspaper between the two pieces of paper bag, kind of like stuffing
a pillow.
3. Glue or staple the open edge closed.
4. Find an old greeting card with a nice picture on it. Cut out the picture and size it so
that it will fit onto your little pillow. Glue it onto the paper bag rectangle. This is the
basic ornament.
5. Glue or staple the piece of yarn to the ornament so that you can hang it on the
Christmas tree.
Other Ideas:
• Paint the paper bag a pretty Christmas color.
• Use wrapping paper instead of a paper bag (although it will be much more
fragile)
• Cut the edges of the paper bag or greeting card with a pair of scissors that
makes a fancy cutting edge.
• Use a pretty piece of metallic wrapping paper instead of a greeting card picture.
• Glue pictures on both sides of the paper bag pillow to make your ornament
double sided.

3. Simple CD Ornaments
1. Use the glue to create a design on the CD.
2. Sprinkle glitter on top of the glue and let it dry completely.
3. Thread a 10 to 12 inch piece of fishing line through the hole in the center of the CD
and tie it in a loop to make a hanger.
Other Ideas:
• Cut out Christmas pictures from greeting cards or wrapping paper and glue onto
the CD.
• Glue pom pom’s, buttons, ribbons, or other objects to the CD.
• Use self-adhesive foamies to create a design on the CD.
• Make a design on the CD with stickers.

4. Christmas Shakers
Decorate the backs of two paper plates with markers or crayons. Cut out pictures of
old greeting cards and glue them to the back of the plates.
2. Staple the two plates together with the decorated sides facing out. Make the staples
close together and leave a three inch open spot.
3. Put about two dozen dried pinto beans in the gap between the plates. Staple the
plate closed.

Great ideas Jen!!

I'm sure you can use the cut out images to make cards for next year. Or even for scrapbooking your holiday.

I cut out the design or picture on the front and use them as name tags for gifts for next year.
